Col. Patrick J.S. Miller, 31st Operations Group commander, passes the 510th Fighter Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. Michael E. Thompson, 510th Fighter Squadron commander, during a change of command ceremony June 3 at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Colonel Thompson took the reins of the 510th FS from Lt. Col. Gregory P. Sarakatsannis.
