Airman Jacob E. Briggs was born in Springfield, Oregon. He attended Mingus Union High School where he lettered in Band and was active with the Emmanuel Fellowship Church. Jacob was active with the "No Compromise" Drama Club.After completion of Phase II Technical School, Airman Briggs was assigned to Aviano Air Base, Italy where he contributed to the enhancement of the MUX BUS Isolation and Repair Program. His contributions improved the effectiveness and communication data of all avionics systems.
His decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NATO Medal, and the Armed Forces Services Medal.He is survived by his father Mark Briggs; his mother Michelle Villa; his brother Daniel Briggs; and his sister Alysha Villa.
